Quality time is necessary for any relationship, so why not spend it on an outdoors couples weekend away
Here is our recommendation for an exciting, romantic and relaxing couples weekend.
Begin the outdoors couples weekend with a walk through ballycarton woods and explore the beautiful forest and foliage on the side of Binevenagh. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the river at Swann’s Bridge before taking part in our Stand Up Paddleboard session. Paddle down the River Roe which allows you to truly take in the views Binevenagh Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer.
Enjoy your evening staying at Swann’s Bridge Glamping which brings a feeling of luxury while still staying in touch with your outdoorsy side. Swanns Bridge Glamping offers private Yurts and Canvas Bell Tents all with double beds. Feel free to wind down next to the camp fire with a glass of wine and schmores.
The next day head over to Benone Beach for another day of excitement. To prepare you to get in the water, grab a hot drink in Sea Shed which is nestled in the sand dunes right on the beach. This small and welcoming coffee bar will help fuel your walk down one of the longest beaches in Ireland. The 7 miles of beach stretches from Martello Tower at the Point to Mussenden Temple at Downhill.
After your walk, grab a suit and a board and have a go at surfing in one of our surf lessons and have your own sample of the surf lifestyle.
To bring your energy levels back up before heading home, grab a bite to eat at The Anglers Rest which overlooks Binevenagh. This authentic Irish Pub offers a menu which has received many awards and recognition for its local produce.Sit and enjoy the last moments of your enjoyable couples weekend with a Pint in front of the fire.
